Santa Rosa native Milton Seeman, who served for a time as the city’s assistant postmaster, died in Oregon at the age of 76.
Seeman lived his entire life in Santa Rosa until he and his wife, Viola, moved to Portland. He was member of the first graduating class of Santa Rosa High School.
He went on to work 39 years for the U.S. Postal Service whose positions in Santa Rosa included assistant postmaster. He had belonged to the Redmen’s Lodge of Santa Rosa and the 30-Up Club, and was past president of the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa #50.
His death came September 28, 1987 at a Portland hospital.
In addition to his wife, Seeman leaves his son, Loren Seeman, one of the founding members of Northbay #656 in Rohnert Park; his daughter, Deanna Christiansen, Oregon, and 2 grandchildren. At Seeman’s request, there were no services.
