Donald Lee Trowbridge passed away at his home in Oakhurst, California on November 28, 2015 with family by his side.
A Santa Rosa High School grad, he attended San Jose City College, and spent a 30-year career as a stock broker in Santa Rosa before moving to Oakhurst with his wife, Diane (Robotham) Trowbridge, to live near their daughter, Lisa Rhoan and her family.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. Bob and Lois Trowbridge, and his sister, Judy Johnson. He is survived by Diane and Lisa; his son, Jeffrey Trowbridge; grandsons, Tristan and Brendan Rhoan; brothers, Phillip and William Trowbridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, member of the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa, and long-time volunteer at the Bird Rescue Center of Santa Rosa, Don loved the outdoors and enjoyed backpacking and camping, Yosemite walks, his antique truck, and sitting with Diane on their deck watching the diverse wildlife around their mountain home.
