The Pacific Coast Air Museum (PCAM) had been an idea in the minds of several aircraft owners at Sonoma County Airport for many years. The first museum meeting was held at the base of the Air Traffic Control Tower at Sonoma County Airport on February 4, 1990. Approximately 21 people attended, representing 16 different aircraft that qualified as historic.
Our first Open House was on May 26, 1990. We have held an Open House and/or Air Show every year since, enabling the community to view our growing collection of aircraft and artifacts, to visit displays, and to see aerial demonstrations and become more aware of our rich aviation history.
